Question for all the cooksI'm making meatloaf & mashed potatoes for my 87 yr. old mother for Christmas Day. I have a 5 hour drive & go on Christmas Eve day, should I cook it before I go or can I mix the meatloaf & freeze it raw to cook when I get there?

They take about 1.5 hours to cook, well thawed.
When do want to eat....right away?? You can bake it before you leave, wrap in foil, then in a towel, THEN put in a small ice chests keep warm. Just do your ketchup/tomato sauce topping when you gat there and put it under the broiler....just till bubbly, watch it carefully.
Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
