I get in Pinterest when I need inspiration for meal planning

Maybe if you get bored you could try a different type of cooking? Ex baking bread or making a pizza all from scratch? Homemade ravioli or gnocchi?
I went to culinary school for awhile and my favorite thing was how much variety there was in the different styles of cooking.
I like Pinterest but, honestly, there is just so much on there that I get distracted, haha! I've made bread, pizza and pasta from scratch before, so it's not really new, but I definitely have thought about making some more. The problem is that I have to do it all by hand (I don't have an electric mixer, a stand mixer, or a pasta roller. I don't even have a rolling pin, actually. I just use a wooden dowel, haha! I consider myself lucky enough to have the patience to make bread and pizza dough (and the ability to just
know when my yeast is happy, hehe!).
I'll look some more, though. For all the arguments I have to not make pasta, bread and pizza from scratch, I love to do it. It's just time consuming and difficult when you don't have all the tools on hand, like a large plat surface to roll out dough. Mom and Dad made a mistake when they got our kitchen counter made with tile and grout rather than a solid surface. I don't have a cutting board big enough

Finger foods are for this weekend because I want to make sure there is plenty for everyone to choose from. Also, I'll be working all week on graphic design stuff for work, so I need something that I can really munch on while relaxing on Saturday. Making a big meal is great, but finger foods are better for family movie/game/puzzle/story night.
Next week, assuming I am feeling better, I'll be making a full meal. A couple weeks ago, I made a huge, 8 lb pot of creamy cajun chicken penne pasta and the whole family loved it (I made up the entire recipe, too, so it was kinda flattering). I even shared with my neighbors and my sister (+ her boyfriend).
I'll definitely look at some of the blogs that you mentioned. I try not to use brands like Pillsbury in my cooking, though, just because they make me sick. However, I'm sure some of the recipes can be modified to fit the foods I'm able to make/eat.
I'd hate to imagine what it'd be like if I made all the delicious recipes I came across, haha! One new recipe a week seems like enough to keep me satisfied, haha!
