Texas

Hi, new from the Houston area!  :frow

I just bought my first incubator, and I've been reading all about hatching eggs on BYC.  There's a lot of information that I'm starting to get overwhelmed!

I'm also watching for any of my hens to get broody so I can try my hand hatching eggs the old fashioned way as well.  I'm sure I'll be asking many many questions here soon!

Welcome from Rosenberg! Congratulations on your first incubator and your chickens! Ask away, we have some very knowledgeable people here.

Thanks! I've already learned so much just browsing through threads!

I still have a book called The Preppy Handbook. Haha I was a bit weird back then. Maybe it will be a classic one day
It might already be. I have an alligator pin from back then so I could turn any shirt into an Izod. lol!

Welcome!

Me Jellybean do for get to do the chicken math when your planing on just no more then 5 chickens cause the way it goes is it turns into 15 or 20 when you add it all up.

I can't have more than 5 chickens. I really only wanted 3! The city has a limit of 12 and I sure don't need more eggs than what 5 hens can lay for just myself to eat. I know I can sell them, and have people lined up to buy them when I get them. I need to start out small. I can always add on if I need to, but I think 5 is plenty. :)

Hmmmm, maybe you are still sleepy-eyed. Must drink coffee before attempting the Texas forum.

Hung, are you using a different Web Browser at home than you do at work? I know some versions of Internet Explorer are not compatible with this site. I'm using FireFox at work and home and have no issues.
