Thanks. We have 2 donations things going for him. 1 is at any Frost bank, just as for the Henry Niño benefit fund. The other is through Razr on Facebook. I don't have the URL this second, my husband set that one up. We also did a yard sale and my daughter asked people at her high school to donate. But it is not near enough for what he needs.

Thanks, we really appreciate any help we can get. It breaks my heart to see this independent, proud man reduced to this. He may be crazy Henry to the neighborhood, but he is like family. We have always invited him for holiday dinners.

Hope he likes western wear.

He has always had his garden wear, which is stained and such. And he had his town cloths, which is blazer jacket, slacks, and a bow tie. It doesn't matter that he rides the Via bus to get to town, he always dresses that way. I think western wear will be right up his ally.

No, food is one thing we have plenty of. My mother taught me to cook extra for unexpected visitors, because if there isn't enough for all, then there isn't enough for 1. I have plenty, and Henry eats what he grows in his beloved garden as well. He loves his veggies, we provide what little meat he can eat. He is diabetic and so he is on a very strict diet.

I hope that the Facebook thing and TV interview helps. I can see how it bothers him to be indebted to us. Not that we feel that way, he needs help and we are doing what little we can. We moved him into our small apartment the day of the fire. which was Easter Sunday. He is now always bringing me veggies from his garden. And he brings huge bags of garden clippings to feed to my chickens, ducks, and geese. And I also caught him feeding my dogs table scraps. My rottwieller absolutely adores him now because I don't allow the dogs any human foods. I think he is trying to repay us, since we keep refusing to charge him rent. He keeps asking to pay us and we keep saying no. He even made me some home made peminto cheese.

I know you are in San Antonio. I will be in Del Valle whenever Therry is ready to let go of the pup. Dang, I need to come up with a name for her. Sorry, my brain is racing. Whenever I come down there, I would like to meet with this WWII patriot, and you of course. May have to make it a 2 day trip. Have to get someone to check on my ladies, sorry, brain racing again. Maybe we can make some arrangements. My wife will be with me and also my German Shepard, Katy.
