Yup. Texas is the largest state in the Union, this side of Alaska. There is a great deal more useable land in Texas, however. When I head to Florida, five hours of my ten hour drive are in Texas....
I like to take all the back roads and go through all the small towns. I am not a fan of big cities.Oh man the drive... It takes longer to get to El Paso from here in Austin than it takes to get to CA from El Paso. My inlaws just drove it, again. I fly unless I have to drive. It's soooooo boring!
Ny chance does anyone have any Dominique laying hens or pullets around Huntsville/Conroe????
Not that I know of. If you happen to find any let me know! Plenty of Barred Rocks but no Dominique. I had some years back, but not anymore.
Managed to get the finishing touches on some of the stuff around the house thanks to all of this wonderful weather. Including, the final touches on my hoop coop. Stole some ideas from Baymule's design, and some from the internet. Here's the finished product!
It's currently where my non selective layers are, as of next month it's where the Aussies will be living.
