I don't have chickens yet; I just bought my first house this summer. We are planning on building a coop this winter and getting some egg laying hens for starters.

I am curious to visit other folks to see their set ups and so forth. You can contact me off-line through [email protected].

Thanks!

Welcome, Lisa !

There are a lot of members in your area. They will find you. Just by posting, you let people know where you are.

:DHi, I'm from Louise, Texas! Way down South Texas. I'm about 70 miles West of Houston. I have 15 ladies-as I call them. 5 Black Sex Links, 5 Red Sex Links, 5 Gold Sex Links and 5 Americaunas-Easter Egg Layers. I love my little ladies.

Hi Becky !
Welcome to BYC.

FYI - I keep a database of Texas BYC members and you are #360. Hard to believe there are that many of us !

HI everyone!
I'm from Fort Worth.
I was lucky to come home from a petting farm with 12 chickens who are now 10 1/2 weeks old. I am still learning and am loving every minute of it!

Good to have ya Chickngurl
I am jealous, you are not Transplanted as far away as I am.
I am in Wisconsin as you can see, and make it back only once every one to two years. I would very much like to rehome myself in East Texas someday.
Blue,
what is this site of Jessicas you speak of, and is there room for a couple of transplantedtexans? Even if we can't make it to the functions?
