Meet My New Rooster!! My other Roos were took by a Raccoon, while defending the hens. He doesn't have a Name yet. But I was told he is a Ameraucana, but Maybe he is an EE because of the comb, other than the comb, he has the Ameraucana Traits, Muffs, Beard, Slate Legs, Large Size. Also, what do y'all think he is? What do y'all think his Coloring Is?

Huh, my EE roos have smaller combs than him - but similar coloring on their backs and neck.

I would say he's probably a mix of some sort.

And, if you need more roosters, I will have some hatched soon from my EE eggs.

I'll be fine. I'll be getting an Ayam Cemani Mix Rooster in a Few Weeks, and also 2 Phoenix Roosters in 2-3 Weeks(not 2-3 Roosters), one BB Red, and 1 Dark Gold.

Hi Ya'll, newbie here in the Seagoville Tx area. Currently have 11 - 5 wk olds. 4 RIR's 4 Barred Rocks, 2 Wel Summers and 2 Americaunas. All have their own personalities and while the reds are sweet I love my rocks. They are sweet and seem to train well. They R the first to greet me and then the others follow. Wel Summers a bit more shy - don't want to be handled much but getting better. Having fun on this new adventure . Appreciate all the tips. Btw-neighbors seeing more snakes than usual this year. Any suggestions for keeping them away

@traceygirl07snakes are my least favorite thing that goes along with having eggs and little ones. I really don't have a suggestion to keeping them away, we live e in the woods so it's inevitable that I will see one in or around the coop
