Texas

I lost my two oldest last week. Had something respiratory come through and I think that coupled with the heat was too much. I did a round of Baytril but still have some congestion in the flock. I've had so many more health problems and random losses since moving down here to Texas :(
How are the birds you picked up from Seabreeze?

Illness start after you got them?

No. I lost one of the Penedesencas randomly one day but otherwise everyone is healthy and well other than the rattling and congestion. I've had issues in the flock since we moved here though. I don't know if it's just the heat and humidity making things harder on them. Out of the 25 I brought with me from Maryland I've had 5 randomly drop dead over the course of the year. Three of them seemed to be circulatory issues, with my Sebright and EE having blood coming from the mouth, and my favorite girl pretty seemed to have heart failure. I've mentioned before some issues I've had with mold so I think that may have a lot to do with my problems but there isn't much I can do. I stopped fermenting feed when we moved here and I keep the feed in the bags inside a chest freezer. Fresh food is put out each day. They do get to free range a lot. It's always possible there are encounters with venomous and/or poisonous things.

Wow @SunHwaKwon sorry to hear about your flock problems.
Texas humidity is a bummer and it's hard for most people to adjust so I'm sure that birds have the same problem. I've noticed that chickens that have hatched here have a much easier time with the hot, humid days than my older hens that were bought.
I hope in time that your remaining flock will adjust to our weather .
On the bright side It's in the 90's again! And hopefully a little rain will be coming our way.

My birds are all fine.
I am so done with the heat.

I want to build a little fake snowman already.
How bout a snow angel on a glacier in Iceland?
