Really sorry about those losses. They hurt. Especially getting that far, past the anticipation and incubation to loose them right after you just meat them. Hurts. Brooding White Rock hatched some EEs for me day before but one glance at another Rock pecking a chick down to the ground hard, I knew. Remove chicks altogether and now I’m mom.Oh so sorry ! I love my dogs but they have been responsible for a few (3) deaths round here (my hubby "trained them to leave chickens alone" ...when he is supervising.) We no longer let them mingle. Why can't we all just get along?
