@Tommie Hockett I asked Google for driving directions and it says I'm 9 hours and 9 minutes away from you that's not even Texas close, I bet they don't even include the pee breaks needed and Whataburger stops. Also the family dinner would probably be required as well were I to pass through the DFW area.

I so do not envy you with a neighbor like that. We already have a hemmroid of a neighbor that "preparation H" runs screaming from.

It's okay he normally keeps to himself. I was just trying to keep that flock alive and it worked. It must have been quite distressing to him cuz he planned to set his dogs on it. I made it real clear should he harass that man's livestock the deputies would be here and I know the law. It's worked in the past and I've already had one of his dogs destroyed for the same behavior. We wanted his dog that was already out not to meet that fate.

Oh sorry, I forgot to add that I want a different breed rather than pekin's. Yes I've been looking on hatcheries, but they if they sell adults, they're not the right breed, AKA light breeds . However whenever I do find the right breed their babies! Argh! I've always still looked on Craigslist and they don't have any I'm looking for

Yeah, the hatcheries comment was just a resource to see what breeds would be compatible the big pekins. I thought you didn't know what breeds would be good. If you are looking for adults in your area I think your best bet would be craigs list or a neighborhood market place type app but you have to look often. It is a tough time of year to get adults. Can you set up an alert for new posts meeting a certain criteria? I've never done that.
