Who do you guys use for electricity providers? I am starting a new relationship with CPL energy and not enjoying it. I like Reliant and TXU but not their pricing. It is proving difficult to move my billing date to the 1st of the month with CPL. I live in the middle of a windmill farm and they are often turned off because our electricity prices stay negative per Ercot.com's website. http://www.ercot.com/content/cdr/contours/rtmLmp.html

Bluebonnet here. Bill runs around $60 a month.

I manually turned it off and set the fan to on. Still have the windows open and am cooling down the house and floors. Tomorrows high is supposed to be in the mid 80's and back to 90's again for the rest of the week. I am currently considering putting on a t-shirt to complement my underwear ensemble not even thinking about a need for socks yet. Our floors still feel like they are barely under 80 degrees.

Sighs.
It's hard getting old.
I HATE HATE HATE the hot especially HUMID Temps.
My partner will be 85 in a couple of weeks-below a temp of 75-he's cold. Long sleeve flannel shirt and jeans. Since he fell on Sept 2nd, its been flannel sleep pants around the house. Never thought I would get him to wear anything besides blue jeans.
He worked on chicken coop yesterday, crawling around on knees.
We are adding a second layer of hardware cloth around bottom. Inside layer is 1/2 inch hardware cloth the new layer is 2x4 inch welded wire. Now he says hip joints hurt he's sore. Coop half finished, might have to wait a few days to finish. One day at a time.

I do not know which thread I mentioned this on but since the possum killing cat is still here on the property we just do not worry about chicken death any longer. We leave all coop doors open nightly and that has been working for about 1-2 years. I own and care for the night time predator and he doesn't like chicken. The silkie coop just got the open door treatment this week. The silkie chicks are all staying in the secured dog transport crate right now and will get transferred to general population once they pass the 1 pound mark.

Trust me if the coyote's come sniffing around I get told to wake up and open the dern door by our pack. My 5 can easily take out a large pack of
Chihuahua.(I honestly couldn't spell that one, hence the formatting issue)

So my superstar dog is the Belgian Malinois he is all of 70 pounds and we keep feeding him more hoping to add a few pounds. Bite hold and tug is programmed into this breed. He converts excess feed into energy and frisbee time. Then we have a chocolate Lab 80 pound chicken egg thief I guess she is a free ranger. The other girls aren't so efficient at hunting chicken nests. They are my pack.

Regardless of my musing they are all fixed and vetted. I hope all yours are as well. We keep them topspotted and free of internal parasites monthly. All of our dogs would choose us again.

Oh and I really love that they hate @hole next door. They give him grief.
