I am so happy the fireworks have stopped. With 5 dogs this is a difficult time of year for us all. We chose not to sedate any dogs this year.

I have to sedate myself otherwise I'm diving under the bed, table, or just plain hitting the floor!

I did hear a few zaps of actual thunder early in the evening.... I did hear a couple light fireworks... Maybe 3? Thankfully the wind, and rain combined for a non-issue night for fireworks.....

I really have to convince my DVM to draw me up a few syringes of a "pam" based substance. 3/5 dogs do great on the antipsychotic she prescribed but the other 2 go out of their minds. Or we just need a few pills in the fidge. Just reflecting on the fireworks tonight. One literally hallucinates and chases imaginary things. I am not allergic to IM/IV/SQ injections in the least well unless I am the patient. That is why we chose not to sedate the dogs this year.

Woke up really craving fritoes and cheese dip but the weather has me refusing to open the door. I'm not going anywhere until the sun is shineing.

Because I do not currently own Fritoes and cheese sauce. I will make it to the taco store instead after the chicken are out and fed.
