OK I am revising my drama queen position after DW mentioned how much I paid for those deepsheets to get home after they couldn't listen to track change announcements not an acceptable reason to miss your train when they are provided in your native tongue. It really has my BP up atm. I will get over it after I have more time to process this information.

I should also be upset with DW for replacing those 50euro bills and not telling me but just can't be upset with the lady she always knew best. 1 euro was usually $1.33-1.35 in that time frame. So $70 dollar billls disappeared for teenage stupidity. I never had issues with missing a train due to a track change as that always happened you just have to listen to those announcements. "Actung auf gleis 4......." I definitely spell worse I am sure in German.

I got removed from the German class in college because my educator did not speak proper high German but the horrible Austrian variant and I refused to say Ik vs. Ich. As that was not German and I had already lived in Germany for 3 years at that point. I can not imagine the trouble that guy would have had with my wife it would have been much worse to upset her as a 30 year native speaker of the language. I took it because it should have been an easy A+ class. I just was not complacent enough to tolerate his crap correcting my pronunciation when I could speak proper German and the guy thought Austrian German was right. Stories from the 90's.

I am starting to think I should ask my DW to interview professors for German classes at our local Colleges. Not that we need the $$ just we might need to weed out the incompetent's. Naturally her German is vastly superior to mine and it is the hollywood type of English/German as she is a native speaker. Her ear is better than mine, and years of education are so advanced you can not BS her. Also it is not a common language taught here and the woman don't care about your credentials if you can't speak/write the language proper.

36°F outside, 77°F inside, cloudy, a breeze and I think I'll stay inside for awhile longer! Was going to go get tacos but nawh, I would just have to turn right back around and go back to town, so might as well skip'em and go when all the stores open.

To be honest I have taken English classes 4 times most of those instructors were just oddball crazies. Hard to believe they were entrusted to create their own syllabus. I was forced to read a lot of MalcomX with the weirdest one. Then the asian young lady sitting next to me who could only write at the "See Spot Run" level got an A while I got a D had me drop that class as well plus desert storm happened so I got recalled to active duty. Tarrant County Junior Collège. https://www.tccd.edu/ I get paid more than well enough being a Disabled Vet not worrying about that stuff any longer. Completely living a tax free life as well. I think the Jeep does cost me $10.50 a year though. I pay no taxes though to city or other taxing agencies. They leave us alone no matter the size of our spread here in TX.

So I had been trying to take a mid morning nap after chicken duties. I just have to say Heelers are pretty top on the ladder of dog evolution. Our Malinois tried to get in bed and she ran him off in seconds. You apparently do not trifle with a Heeler in the dog world after their interaction she set up in door guard position. He never came back.
