New Waverly isn't that far from Baytown.
It is easy to get the pruning, dip it in starter, wrap it in newspaper/damp paper towels, stick it in a plastic bag and stick in in the mail. This is DD#1's method. It works. Takes 2-3 weeks for the roots to start, but at week 4 most had roots and couple showed promise.
After you get it, you could do Sean's stick it in damp dirt and wait 3-4 weeks. Or change the paper towel out and keep damp for 3-4 weeks. Pot up or plant when ready.
Guess I need to prune the tree tomorrow.
