We got 3" yesterday and I didn't stand in the rain long enough to check last night's contribution this morning. We got a bit. Ditches are full, ground is saturated from yesterday. Stay safe.

Ground is certainly saturated. Small ponds in the yard. Although we only had a 40% chance of rain today, it is raining now with 80% chance tomorrow. I know the water table can use the rain, but I sure miss sunlight. I am afraid all the rain will ruin my garden.

This is the reason I had to go to raised beds and container gardening. I live in a swamp. The year I started a garden in the ground, the plants drowned. Would be different if the clay would drain. Not going to happen here.

Thanks. I put pole beans around the corn today and spread some composted chicken poop- things starting to look like they needed nitrogen. My beds are raised too. More rain for almost every day next week.
