I cleaned mud balls from his feet yesterday. He wasn't thrilled. I'm treating one of my hens for bumble foot.

I'll probably be doing it again tomorrow. It's raining pretty hard here. The big run is terribly muddy. We've had muddy before, but water puddles are just standing for days at a time now.
I bought several pages of pine pellets to spread after this rain. I hope that helps.
