Just for a while, less than an hour. Mostly high winds and lightning.

I see. I'm glad you are all right! There may be a few storms here where I am but mostly just heavy rainfall.

Weather is almost here in High Island at 9:45 PM. We are NOT short of rainfall. I did get my coop roof shingled, next is the run and a ramp for the automatic door. Soon the chicks will move from the brooder to the coop. I am going to put an electric fence on the outside of the run wire to help prevent critters from getting to the chickens. We have LOTS of Critters here being surrounded by marshland. My coop is 4' off the ground. Photo once it is stained and completed.

We have actual puddles after the rain. (This is not normal for here. Fema doesn't even have a flood plain map for my area, we just don't hold water )

...It was actually really still for here during the storm.... But I live in one of the windiest places in the US. I feel like i got some one else's rain storm.

Thunderstorms predicted for next week tho. I'm sure the inevitable house shaking wind will restore my sense of normalcy then. Hope y'all stay safe, and don't have too much to clean up!
