With the weather like it has been I'm going to keep with my plans. Making an EE that lays blue and green eggs with the body type of the Phoenix just a pound or two heavier w/ crests and long tails.

My Phoenix and Spitzhauben are doing the best in this weather.
That sounds like a great plan. I'm leaning towards getting bantam naked neck eggs, if I find any.
 
Sad news, my 5 week old blue pullet somehow flipped the rubber feeding bowl over her today and died😞 she was the only thing keeping me from getting rid of both the cockerels. So they are both free to a good home, 1 mauve, 1 splash, both English orps

Ya it was a terrible thing, I was searching everywhere for her and went to grab that bowl and there she was, poor little girl
