Not sure if anyone is thinking about ordering chicks in the near future or not!
I would advise against it!
After waiting on my worming medication since January 9th, I went to find out what in the world was taking so long, and what I learned was shocking.
If you are not aware of the major USPS issues right now with the Houston area sorting facilities, please just google it. Specifically Houston’s North facility, and the Missouri City location.
I was in line behind a gentleman that had a guaranteed overnight delivery 6 days ago not show up, and I couldn’t imagine that chicks would be any faster.

I got a batch of chicks on the 12th right as this freeze junk was happening and had that fear that the North Houston sort would screw up and then Park Row who has an equally bad rep would be the complete death of my chics but thankfully they made it. Not that there wasn't an issue at the Park Row post office, just that I went in prepared for battle.

I have a package in transit as we speak sitting at North Houston. Been there since December 31st. Thankfully not chicks.

The claim was just approved.

I got a 90' Pine Tree in my 80' X 46' chicken run. Coming down your way to Ideal in Cameron. Do you know if they will let you pick up orders instead of having them mailed? I going to get 25 Buff Orphans, 25 Red Star, 25 Cornish Rocks and some guineas. Have you ever bought from them?

Hello Bob I am in Sulphur Springs Tx and I have 4 cockerels that are needing homes. I hatched 10 eggs for my niece (her eggs) and she has 4 boys that need a home. 2 easter egger 2 are ? 1/2 golden sexlinks 1/2 Cochin. I am posting several pictures of the 4.

Good morning. I'm not sure Bob is an active member any longer. That post is from 2007. You'll have better luck finding them homes on Craigslist. Almost all of us have extra cockerels and roosters. Good luck rehoming them.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm out on the west side, Katy but not Katy proper, literally across the street from Houston and Cypress.

Was down there this weekend at the equestrian center... My chickens are cheaper than my wife's ailment... I mean hobby...
