Well tragedy hit me last night some neighborhood dogs came in and killed 3 of my baby chicks in their coop it's my fault for accidentally leaving the gate open. The owners of the dogs for letting them run amuck at night.

I'm sorry about your chicks If you know who they are I'd definitely be having a talk with them.

My least favorite part about chickens and heat is that my fat bottom girls get the messy bums from all the water intake, I did 3 cleanings and trims this week

Anyone living in the more northern counties of Texas? Say, like red river county, or around Texarkana? Just want to know what it's like as myself and my brother maybe looking to move in the next two years off the coast down here.

I'm not sure about there, that's 3 hrs NE of me, but things are pretty reasonable around here

Ok ladies and gentlemen I have a few questions... What are chickens supposed to eat and how many times are they supposed to be fed during the day I mainly fill up a chicken feeder with chicken feed and they all just get what they want when they want I've got 6 roosters and 3 hens one mama with 5 babies so any help would be a life saver an I think that black an white 3 month old is also a rooster oddly enough
