I am happy to report that my errant hen, Gladys the tree-sleeper, was heading up to roost IN THE COOP when I came home from work today. Two separate 3-day lockdowns did the trick. Everyone was so great with support and suggestions!
Yesterday she headed toward the tree but I guided her toward the coop. After some balkiness, she looked at the coop, cocked her head and walked right past the treats I had placed inside and climbed up to roost.
This afternoon, when I got home from work, she was already heading up the ladder.
