I think so too.I will suggest if they are eating and drinking on their own,
plain feed and water might be best.
I think I would stop all the extras and just use a complete chicken feed and plain water.

Post #135, she is eating and drinking on her own. Is it ok to give her more of the pain medicine now? Moxacam.Great.
How's the patient doing?
Are you waking to force her to drink water every few hours? Is she not drinking on her own?

She doesn't need the vitamins and probiotics anymore? And this may sound like a stupid question, if I give them their regular food, do I need to mix small gravel or something to help with digestion? I feed them pellets.I think so too.

I forget so help me out real quick....how many days has she been on the vitamins? She doesn't need the vitamins and probiotics anymore? And this may sound like a stupid question, if I give them their regular food, do I need to mix small gravel or something to help with digestion?
Ok. I usually don't but they have it in the coop so I didn't know. Thank you.I forget so help me out real quick....how many days has she been on the vitamins?
A day or two is good...it's not meant to be used all the time.
If she is just eating a regular complete poultry feed in a crumble or pellet form then no you do not need to offer a side dish of grit. (Never mix it with feed)
