That possum clawed one of my old girls! Help⁉️

Pics
He is beautiful ! With all those feathers, you need to check him really good for wounds! It would be hard to see any, I would think. None of my girls have all those long pretty feathers.
He could be sad for her or he could be feeling guilty for not doing his job to protect her. I don't have any roosters. I did but had to shoot him. He kept attacking me!

I think so too.
I think I would stop all the extras and just use a complete chicken feed and plain water.
She doesn't need the vitamins and probiotics anymore? And this may sound like a stupid question, if I give them their regular food, do I need to mix small gravel or something to help with digestion? I feed them pellets.

I forget so help me out real quick....how many days has she been on the vitamins?
A day or two is good...it's not meant to be used all the time.

If she is just eating a regular complete poultry feed in a crumble or pellet form then no you do not need to offer a side dish of grit. (Never mix it with feed)

Ok. I usually don't but they have it in the coop so I didn't know. Thank you.

The vitamins are fine, but they are in the electrolyte mix. Electrolytes may cause diarrhea, and antibiotics when started may also cause diarrhea. I would continue the probiotics in the water which help the gut during and after antibiotics. Stop the electrolytes. Give some vitamin B complex for humans, 1/4 tablet daily crushed onto food.

You should not be spraying Vetericyn on top of the Neosporin Ointment. Just stop the Vetericyn, and just apply the plain Neosporin ointment twice a day. That should be plenty, and too many applications can be bad because there are anttibiotics in the ointment.
