That sinking feeling: Recalled food. LOL

I had a store call me about some recalled meat way back. The problem is that I think I bought the meat 5 weeks before and had already eaten it all or had a little bit left.

Often times, if I just went shopping and I hear of a recall, I will still eat the recalled item unless I'm 100% positive it's from the bad batch. Haven't had a problem, yet.

Remember the big Pnut butter recall? We had some and I was eating it, I told Sharon it was giving me the runs. She looked it up and sure enough it had the recall code, I was ticked when she threw it away, I had eaten about 1/2 a quart jar.

This happened to me a few months back only it was a recall on baby formula that I had purchased over a year ago...My son is 3 now and that formula was long gone! I couldn't help but think I was better off not knowing. I guess if it had affected him in some way at least I would have finally known the culprit.
