I said, "I believe" because I don't know for sure and I don't want to mislead people. So what, facts. Just the facts ma'am
Is that okay?
People who want the facts about what I said are welcome to look it up.

Well, actually, her point is valid. I agree with her. No research study is perfect, which is why I knew there are flaws with this one and the previous one I posted, so I posted a third reference. The third one I posted is a compilation of studies and involves large sample sizes.
But why are we concerned with transmission? We should be concerned with mortality rates - which are almost null. Either we erradicated the flu, or those positives and deaths were counted as COVID. Because testing was greater in 2020 than in 2019 but positive results fell by 95%. And not because they were reported as negative - because they weren’t reported as flu results. This is all on the CDC‘s website - download the raw data.I think it has been shown with the combination of all this research that her statement that asymptomatic transmission "has been disproven" is not correct. Many studies, while some with flaws, have illustrated that asymtomatic transmission does occur. Also, I don't need studies to show me that; I live in a community with thousands of college students and the community spread from people without symptoms was happening right before our eyes, here.
Not true. The 1918 flu epidemic involved large-scale quarantine of everyone, not just those who had the flu.Never in history has a civilization quarantined an entire population to protect the vast minority.
That's an oversimplification and if you're in healthcare you should realize that. Transmission rates are variable and so are mortality rates. When transmission rates were high, mortality rates spiked, not just because more people were sick, but because there were fewer resources available for each individual case. You need trained medical personnel to control mortality rates. Everyone can help control transmission rates. But why are we concerned with transmission? We should be concerned with mortality rates - which are almost null.
I know, but the virus is an evoulution of the cold, so if that evolves, we have to make a new vaccine for that, and it would evolve again and again, Plus Covid-19 doesn’t even effect young people, they are just taking the vaccine so they don’t spread it, Plus the vaccine Isn’t made normally, instead of giving you a bit of the virus so that you build up antibodies, it just gives you the antibodies. I’m not really against that. But the FDA hasn’t tested it yet, they gave it emergency approval. Sorry everyone, I’m not trying to stop you from getting it if you want, Just providing my opinion.Link? You really can't believe everything you see online.
True.I also saw a video of someone claiming the vaccine made you into a pig. It’s best not to trust everything you find on the internet.
That’s probably true.. I just have some trust issues..Out of all the conspiracies I've heard.. also tiktok? Look with all due respect I find it SO weird that so many boomers, maybe not you that's fine I'm talking generally now, but the same folks who would tell us repeatedly "don't believe everything you read on the internet!" Are now the same folks being fooled by false information constantly on Facebook and apparently tiktok now too. You really, really can't believe tiktok.
No need! I got COVID and nothing out of the ordinary happened to me. In fact, my whole family got it and we didn’t know until we went on a snowboarding trip, when my dad was out of breath and had headaches and could barely breath for no reason! He got tested and it came back positive, so we knew we all had COVID. It didn’t affect us in any other way! Please vote! I’d love to know and I won’t judge.
Join the club if you’re getting it or have got it!
This is not true and you were misinformed, wherever you got that from. Whenever you see something like that, simply check with the source for example, in (this case, the FDA).But the FDA hasn’t tested it yet, they gave it emergency approval. Sorry everyone, I’m not trying to stop you from getting it if you want, Just providing my opinion.
