Checked on the eggs under the broody and there's some movement. Got the brooder all set up and ready to go. This is so eggciting

Earleen Henny hatched two days early. None of the other eggs have given any indication that there is life in there. They were due to hatch yesterday. She is so lonely, but better since she has the chick in the mirror to talk to. I guess I will follow the info listed in the assisted hatch article and candle, tap, float test, etc..... Her belly is much better now.

Candled the 3 other cream legbar and 7 sulmtaler eggs. Did NOT see any internal pips. No response when I tapped. So i proceeded to do the float test. They all were low floaters, but none moved around. Back in the incubator. I guess they will hatch or they won't..... I don't know of anything else to do but wait a couple more days.

My first hatched this morning, and two more are almost out. A bit early. but then I upped the temp because everyone was hatching 24 hours late. Can't win. lol

3 speckled sussex out, 3 ameraucana/ barred hen sexlinks pipped.

Can't beleive the days flew by sooooo fast!! Need to scramble to put together a new brooder tomorrow. Back up tubs are always an option!!

here is a pic of the two batches 1 from the incubator and another from the eggs I gave my broody. She was not pleased with me for moving her to get this pic though.
Here is the broody pic. There's not 6 chicks the large dark spot to the far left is "broody poo"
Didn't notice it till after I took the pic. (now removed)

Here are a couple pics of the chicks from the bator. I have one egg left to hatch. I candled it real quick did not see an internal pip but it was wiggling around in there so I quickly put it back........
