Splash and a pure UofA Blue. I hope it is a cockerel. I need a good one this year to put with the Splash pullets.

Basic Colors
Blue/Black/Splash (BBS)
Blue x Blue = 50% Blue, 25% Black, 25% Splash
Blue x Splash = 50% Blue, 50% Splash
Blue x Black = 50% Blue, 50% Black
Black x Splash = 100% Blue
Black x Black = 100% Black
Splash x Splash = 100% Splash
NOTES - - Black can NEVER parent a Splash Bird, and Splash can NEVER parent a Black Bird.​

How do you do that????
I've been wondering what some of my chicks are going to look like (possibly) and about egg color.
I can only do basic brown and white egg colors.
Oh, what do you think of this?

She's the only one like this. The others are white with varying numbers and sizes of splashes on them.

I am very jealous.

But I know Spring is just around the corner. I can deal with the snow a bit longer. Honestly Im dreading all the mud that comes next after the 3 feet of snow melt.

My plum and pluot trees are in full bloom right now. My peaches and nectarines are just starting to bloom.

That is exciting when fruit trees start blooming.

Im excited for my apple trees to bloom again. I planted 2 trees 2 years ago and 1 tree last year. Last year we got 5 whole apples from one of the trees. Doesn't sound like much but we were so excited.
