No we are just trying to regulate it before we try and put our eggs in.
Then, it doesn't matter if you open the lid. You can even take some water out if you need to. I just fill one of the wells, and it usually gets me up to mid 30's for incubation. That's here in Utah. I don't worry much about the humidity during incubation going much under or over the mid 30's for incubation. 55 USED to be the norm..but most are finding that mid 30's is best for incubation, then I like to lock down at 62 to 65.

It will be announced in this thread, on the first post on this thread, and if we nice to ronott1 he will probably include it on the daily update.

Welcome!

I had a cancellation on 3 doz for Tues ship date if you would like some rainbow layers. All roos carry blue/green egg gene.

Am I getting some blue/green egg gene ones?   :jumpy

If no one else orders any you can have ALL blue & green eggs if you want. The roos are an EE & an OE so both carry blue/green. That means even the white, cream, brown & chocolate eggs have a chance of hatching blue/green layers.

Quote: It was pretty warm in there...One thing I noticed as we tinker with the whole set up, once I got the temps reading lower on the Brinsea, they are more in sync. Like: at 95* they were all reading 95*. Mine were just shot though, I've heard they are good for a few hatches and then best to replace them. I should have known last summer when the one batch hatched so early. Mine are about 2 years old and many, many hatches later.

I was looking through pictures from last year and found this thought it was neat so I minds well share it! I can't wait for the warm weather to get here it looks nice in this picture sunny and breezy!
Now I just want to come over and roll in the clover...Doesn't it look sooo inviting?
