Oh great news.... I got my first Faverolle egg in weeks! This ones going to the incubator, along with Australorp eggs, which actually aren't laid yet.

I hope every has had a great Friday.

Mine was good. I babysat my niece and nephew, my 4yr old niece is the best farm helper. I sold some chicks and eggs today. The family went shopping for our DDs bday party tomorrow shes turning 7(shes my youngest).

I have Spitzhauben hatching as we speak on day 20, 1 already out and 3 pips.

Oh and last night I set more eggs, I think 26.

Easter will be April 5th next year. Early birthday hatch?

April 5th is my daughters birthday! that will be a hectic day next year- birthday, easter, and a million chicks!

Thanks! I raised so many last year to sell. People like the mixed breed hens because of interesting colors and they are very broody. But roosters did not sell as quick. Just sold the last of the mixed roosters from last year 2 weeks ago.
