Awwww, are the 2 of them getting along okay?
I hear bucks stink though.Good eye, you picked an unrelated buckling and doeling, you'll have your own goats kids next spring.

I don't know, but I would think they could incubate ducks.
Quote: Yep.
That is for the hot chocolate. And yes, you did say that out loud.uhhh I think you forgot the rum.
I've been known to put them in my bra. Oops, did I say that out loud?![]()
Not the snow pictures we were hoping for.
This made me giggle!I won a blue ribbon at the Lake County Fair for my preserved lamb's liver...not to be confused EVER with lamb liver preserves![]()
Ditto and adding that they usually turn off the heat at night/weekends too, so stabilizing temps can be an issue. There are quite a few challenges for hatching in a classroom.
The best method and one that actually had eggs hatch, was to bring in the incubator and set the eggs. Take the incubator home and bring it back in on day 7 for candling and etc. until it is brought back while the chicks are hatching.
Issues:
Noise and vibration
adjusting the settings
heating and cooling turned of at 5 each night and weekends
Drafts from door being opened a lot
Sometimes sunlight from windows
I hope you do run a hatch for your class!
