Oh my gosh, I think I'm going to pull my hair out!! I've got five hens who refuse to lay eggs anywhere but in the one corner of our community nest box, and my broody hen who refuses to sit on eggs anywhere else. So today I go in and check on her, and one of the other hens has apparently decided she is no longer going to tolerate the broody hogging the spot. So this is what was going on:

Another picture, which I took with my good camera and I don't know how to upload here, is of her sitting directly on the broody hen's back! So I got her off and locked her out of the coop, and boy is she. Why won't she pick a different place to lay???
Was I wrong to intervene?
