-Americana(I know I am spelling it wrong but I don't have the energy to look up the correct spelling)
-Buff Orpingtons
-LAVENDER Orpingtons!!(so excited about these)
-Jersey Giants
-Olive Eggers(MaranXAmericana)
-Mixed Marans(the pen has both Wheaten and French black copper hens and roosters)
-Cortnix Quail
And there is a chance I might get a couple Silver Laced Wyndottes

I decided to try some Bantam eggs. Went with Creole Cochin. Now just have to hope they get here in time . Fingers and toes crossed

  Thanks! We went the old cooler/lightbulb/computer fan route.  We have a temp/hydro reader and some arduino doo-hicky thing my husband is programming. We will see how it all turns out.  We are still fine tuning everything, but our 3yo keeps sneaking an egg in every morning in hopes that he can hatch one early.  Haha he is so fun.

Clever son, can't get started too early. I am just now testing my own DIY Coolerbator for the first time. I am using one of the digital temperature controllers to switch the light bulbs on and off, and the Bator is holding both temperature and humidity VERY well. What is an arduino Doo-hickey thing? My Coolerbator sounds a lot like yours, and I have high expectations of them. Wish us luck, too.

We have 2 eggs storing so far & looking forward to incubating on the 14th! We get 1-2 eggs/day so hopefully can start at least 1/2dozen! This is our first try at hatching eggs, so fingers are crossed!

I have a lot of catching up to do. My power has been out since Wednesday night from the storm. The power co said it should be on between the 8th and the 13th. Well I better save my cell battery and I'll catch up soo as I get power
