Coldest day so far here in 2015 and I have 9 freshly hatched chicks out of 14. Still have one zipping and two pipped. Today is the 21st day. This will be my best hatch so far. Purchased these eggs from Bama1. There are a several pure breeds and others are a mix of Austalorps or Sulmtaler and Legbar. Hurrah! I see a more colorful egg basket coming!

I'm in I will be setting EEs since my legbars just went in last night with a hatch date of the 8th. It will give me time to clean out the bator and start again.

No, set day for chicken eggs is March 14th. Post #1 has all the set dates, depending on what you are hatching.

Do you have eggs lined up for setting? There is plenty of time.
