An Arduino is an open-source electronics platform based on easy to use hardware and software. It's intended for anyone making interactive projects. Essentially it's a little mini computer thing you can program to do what you want. The husband is programming ours to be a digital temperature controller. We looked at a lot of DIY incubators here on the BYC community and also around the web to help us put it all together. It's been tons of funClever son, can't get started too early. I am just now testing my own DIY Coolerbator for the first time. I am using one of the digital temperature controllers to switch the light bulbs on and off, and the Bator is holding both temperature and humidity VERY well. What is an arduino Doo-hickey thing? My Coolerbator sounds a lot like yours, and I have high expectations of them. Wish us luck, too.
