Yikes! I don't know how I will make 23 more days that alone any longer. I already feel like an overinflated balloon- fingers crossed my dr's are right! haha

Maybe double stacked! Just on principle! Put the thing to work, that's what it was made for!

I'm trying really hard not to fill up my empty Mini tonight. This is the first Tues in about a month I haven't had something hatching! Feels... weird. Tho' I did almost lock down the other Mini a week early. Good thing I looked at the little days display! Duh.

I did put one in lockdown early once, but it ended with many chicks anyways.

The last two or three nights I have been dreaming about eggs and chickens!! Getting the eggs ready, setting the eggs, hatching chicks. (I know I am excited to be setting this week, but really!!) Well this morning a little before 7 I am laying in bed and my (just turned) 7 year old son is cuddled up beside me (as usual...lol) . I hear him say something that sounded like "Do you like chickens?" I was pretty sure he was sleeping so I didn't say anything. Not getting an answer he repeated his question (a little louder and a bit aggravated at not being answered...lol). "Do you like Turkens!?" was what he was asking. This time I answered him with a "Yes."  He mumbled something under his breath about "Mommy" and turned over and back into a deep sleep.....lol So apparently I am not the only one excited and dreaming about chickens. I thought it was funny.  I asked him this morning about it and he said he was asking Grandpa in his dream if he liked turkens.....lol

That's a smart 7 year old, to be attracted to Turkens so early. I think that was about the age I was when I saw my first one. Wasn't long until I got me a rooster like that. The Bajed Neck/Turken is still about my favorite chicken. Can't decide which is my mist favorite Turjen or Easter Egger. So I've ck e uk with a solution that that problem. I'm crossing them together to make a green egg laying Naked Neck.

My eggs that are being shipped are on their way.  :ya   The ones that I won during the New Yr.s HAL from Mitchaelf, and some silkie eggs.  Boy, those eggs from Mitchaelf are beautiful.  I hope those dark eggs aren't any different from other eggs to hatch. Heard that they can be.  And his are dark!  Just gorgeous!

Me too. I'm getting sine shipped eggs thus time too. Mine aren't laying to well because if the ice and snow. You know all that global warming that's going in. Anyway I found that at least one set has made it to the Little Rock distribution office snyway. Now waiting on the other 3.
