I have my eggs set early I set 18 black copper and blue copper mixed Maran and 5 cornish pure bred in one and in the other I have 44 marans black copper and white. The 25 eggs bator was set on the 10th and the 44 egg bator because of when I got the eggs while hatch about the 21 of this month

+/- 2 days of set dates, so no, the turkey eggs wouldn't count.  But anything else you set in the time frame would.

Me either. I almost just put a .5 after my number figuring I was safe with that, but I didn't...lol I actually went through 20 pages of posts.....lol

We had to make a hard deadline for the contests, and tracking the numbers. (which isn't easy) Otherwise, we'd never be able to close out the Guess How Many Contests. We chose the +/- 2 days several years ago, and for the most part, it's worked really well and gives people some flexibility on setting their eggs.

okay I guess i am out then since my first batch will hatch in two weeks and i had to set my others on the 10th which is 3 days early, maybe next year

I don't know. My growth in my eggs doesn't look right. Only a few look like a bona fide "spider". The rest, well a few look like there's wispy lines all in one direction, or clear. Some of the yolks are not a blob, but a horizontal stretched blob. Maybe I should have candled before I set them. The ones with the growth do not look big enough, they should be further along. This is really furschtunken. I am glad I'm getting a new incubator today. I think this one would work much better for someone with 20-40 eggs. Not having luck with 12 silkie eggs.

Don't chuck any eggs until day 10 after candling again. Just a reminder, maybe you knew.

I agree! I was totally wondering how people wouldn't duplicate numbers as the list got longer! It would be a tedious search, and if you're like me, if your number was already taken you wouldn't notice it when you looked!!!!
