Quote: Ok, I tried that and succeeded by putting the pump at a higher level. However now I have a different problem. The water that went inside, instead of just moisting the pad, its dripping from it. If I had eggs in the bator, the water would have been all over the eggs. I have the pad in perfect V shape, so what gives.
Probably because you had the humidity set so high to get it started, it pumped way more water than it will when it is just maintaining humidity. Plus, the pad is probably very dry to begin with, so won't absorb the water that drips from the tube immediately. Give it a few hours to run and let the humidity moderate. The pad will absorb some of the humidity and become more absorbent.
Thats a relief. I was about to disconnect it and send it back!
@KYTinpusher , ok so it dumped the whole can into the bator and it started leaking. I thought maybe it was because of the high level I had put it on. So I brought the pump town, cleaned up excess water, but we are back to where we started, humidity around 45% and while the pump is working, I don't see any water going in. Its very frustrating.
Brinsea is better than this!
