May God protect those air bound eggs. Bet that's the highest those birds ever fly.
HOORAY!!!!! My 10 month old Wheaten Ameraucana Pullets FINALLY gave me their first egg today!!!!! It is kind of pointy, but a lovely deep blue!!! These pictures don't do it justice...
It looks like I will be hatching some Wheaten AM's for Easter after all!
That is too cute!
Hahahahahhahah!!!! Super cute!!!! I was looking for the like button!!! .
Thanks Sweetie love you too. It's okay that's why I've got my DH2B his snuggles keep me warm. I'm so excited for Jazzy too! She seems great! Her crop even with eating now has not been getting huge but her crop was empty again this morning. Praying for you too Glory.
So jealous of the blrw eggs and the lavender Orpington eggs you guys plan to set for the hatch-a-long. Send some my way
Lol love the dreams. Do you think that's what broodies day dream?
Count me in!
I'll likely be setting silkie/sizzle/showgirl eggs from my flock (can sell some if anyone is looking)
Ancona duck eggs also from my flock
And if they lay well, call ducks from my flock
Praying you have an excellent hatch!
Nice set-up! Praying for an excellent hatch for you!
Congratulations! What a beautiful egg! I may need to get some Wheaten/Blue Wheaten Ameraucana eggs to hatch this spring. We sold ours a couple years ago when I was cutting back and now DD is asking to get some back.
My broody turkey lost both her babies today apparently, they are ready to leave the nest and explore, and she wasn't. It's 32° here. Both were cold on the floor when I found them so upsetting. I won't be letting any turkeys try again until it's much warmer out. The good news is that it didn't look like there was any damage to the poults which means the rest of the turkeys didn't bother them at all. They just got too cold.
What a beautiful egg! So jealous I hope I can get some that lay that beautifully.
