Darn. Thank you. Some shells were dark and hard to see through but you could see some movement. I assume this isn't a good thing, am I correct?

Not sure what you're asking. Seeing movement is a good thing. But the chick in the egg in your picture is dead.

I set a whopping 7 eggs for the HAL. Serama.

I already have an incubator full of Sebrights and silver pheasant set too early for the HAL...., but I HAD to join the HAL!
And I HAVE to find out if my two new pairs of Serama are laying fertile eggs yet, right?!

Blood ring..some say they have had some hatch, but they weren't this bad. Not a good egg for sure!

Okay, I'm finally done stuffing the last of the quail eggs in the bators. I've got 3 incubators going plus a couple broodies. Here are my egg totals:
75 barnyard mix
20 Silkies
4 Black Tailed Buff Japanese
26 Serama
8 Sebrights
16 Modern Game Bantams
16 Welsh Harlequin
7 Mandarin
39 Japanese quail
That is a total of 211
