I have a day 22 going on at this very moment. I couldn't set until tomorrow to be synchronized with the group.

+/- 1/2 days either side of today is fine to set so you still may be able to get some in tomorrow

I have a flat of Blue Austrulorpe's/Red-Blue Splash Wyandotte's/Jersey Giant's/Sun Flower's & Moon Flower's ready to go.. Been tilting them for four days. Fresh, exercised and on stand by.

I'll try to set in the morning early as possible. I would remove the balance of this batch but I'm a fan of underdogs.

Already did that twice. They say its like perfect and will work great, so i am giving it a chance. It had best work for that much money or they will be very sorry. If i return it because i changed my mind i have to pay all the shipping. Not impressed.

Just wondering why you don’t turn until day 8/9?

Turning egg before embyro has began to develop doesn't help anything.By leaving egg big end up for first 8 days it just insures air sack and embyro are all in right position and not damaged when chick starts to develop.I will take photos when I candled eggs on day 9.

Question. How long after being laid are eggs able to hatch? I ordered some eggs on eBay (stupid, I know... but they were cheap. Now I know why... )
And it took him about 2 weeks to actually send them to me... after telling me they were all packaged up and ready to go.
(Thank goodness I found someone here on BYC to order eggs from! Great service, and super prompt! )
I’ll be setting either 8 or 12 eggs tomorrow at noon, depending on whether or not I decide to set the eBay eggs.
