When are the contests going to start? Other than number one.

What kind of incubator does everyone have and are you satisfied with it?

I have a GQF 1202 cabinet and a hova bator 2362 e. I incubate in the cabinet and hatch in the hova bator. I LOVE both of them! Stable as a rock and rarely ever need adjusted. I think the last time I made a tweak to the temps on the cabinet was 2 years ago lol. The hova bator got bumped during storage so it needed adjusted by 1° this year.

So it looks like I should have some chocolate English orpington eggs for the hatch a long. Most of my own eggs are getting mailed out on set day but at least I'll have some to hatch

I have a Brinsea MIni Eco manual. I like it a lot. I've had to fiddle with the temp a bit this go but it's holding steady now. I'll probably work more on adjusting it when I clean it after this hatch. I have a feeling I bumped it with the last cleaning.

Overall I am pleased with the Brinseas and told my husband that I had my eye on Mini II Advanced and got the 'evil' eye as a response. I really don't mind the manual turn though and have no need to hatch out large numbers of eggs so what I have works well for me.

I'm in! But it won't be with gobs of eggs as my birds aren't laying yet. (They still have a week to get their rear in gear; right?) However, my neighbor to the rescue with a mere handful of F2 olive egger eggs from birds I hatched for her last year to replace her flock. A nice karmic circle.
