About checking the fertility of a rooster, sorry for the slightly graphic question...
Is it possible to manually collect semen from a rooster so that it can be checked under a microscope? I know it can be done easily with horses and such.

Is it impossible with roosters due to anatomical issues?

I'm hoping that my duck eggs arrive today so I can set them in time!!! :fl I already have Bielefelders and Cream Legbar eggs on day 14 in the incubator, so I'll be doing a staggered hatch. :caf

:fl for you! Though, I believe they'll still count up till Monday if you set them then :)

Set my turkey eggs yesterday :yesss: Chocolate orpington eggs coming next week :ya

Today is set day for duck, goose, turkey, guinea and peafowl eggs! Time to get them in the incubator!

mallard (derived) duck, goose, turkey, guinea, peafowl: 28 days to hatch; set March 3rd

I have turkey eggs set thanks to @Auroradream26 :) Also will be setting some of my own EE eggs when it is time to set chicken eggs. Im putting duck eggs in today too though my test batch previously were all unfertile... maybe he's figured out what he's supposed to do by now. ;)
