They are 75% Narragansett and 25% Bourbon Red. Momma is a blonde Narragansett and father is the cross.

Good morning
Of the 12 shipped Speckled Sussex eggs 7 are in lockdown. 1 very iffy 4 of the air cells are very saddled. Bad shipping box.
Of the 8 Dark Cornish shipped in a much better box than the SS, 6 are strong 1 iffy and 1 out. All air cells very good. The one that’s out had different pencil label on top. Going to have to ask seller what that was. She sent extras so not a big deal.

I'd thought fertility was much higher than it was. Easter beig early this year isn't making for a good hatch. Pulled well over a dozen clear eggs last week. Obvious fertility issue as you could tell by egg shape/color they were from the same two birds who finally started providing fertile eggs few days ago. Will have enough hatching Easter weekend to please my boy and niece so not a bust by any means.

I candled my eggs yesterday, there was no clear chicken eggs, all of them look alive! 1 of my duck eggs is dead, the other 2 are still going, I wonder how many will hatch

When you mention it, the cutest one is the last one. I think the stamped eggs are cute. Would be a time thing, and possibly costly. Still think those are cute. Would surprise my egg buyer.
