I want so much to reach in and grab 11 fluffy cheepers to snuggle with!!! We are at 11/12 Olive Eggers. 7 of 13? Marans have hatched but one looks to have a prolapsed umbilical thing. One more has pipped. Waiting, waiting...

Do you see some pieces of shell knocked off into the incubator? It is fun to see that happen
I HAVE MY FIRST PIP EVER!!!! Looks like its from the wrong end.....
It is very exciting to see pips! Next will be zipping followed by baby chicks

Leave them for a bit but you can still get them out--or the ones that hatched first. Even getting 3 or 4 out can help. Humidity should be fairly high and recover quickly. Work fast but carefully to get them out

The little umbilical part will dry up and fall off on it's own. Just keep an eye on it, if it's torn off too soon and you see bleeding then you may need to attend to it. Will dry up in brooder and fall off. Don't keep it moist.
