The adventures of Barbara (BR)

I use different colored cable ties for temporary leg bands. Now I just have to figure out a system for year hatched, parentage, etc.

as manly as Cochins get

I do love Barbara updates.

And I happen to think Cochin roos are lovely and manly at the same time, even if they do have big fluffy butts.

Whoa sooo sorry about Annie.

I love the Barbara adventures. You really should write a book. I started reading the stories to my DW. we both enjoyed the laughs and the pics. My DW really has no entrest in my chicken escapade. once she heard about Barbra she seemed a lil more eggcited about the bator contents.

Wishing You and Yours all the best!

Good luck and God Bless!

I love it when they chest bump! I had a little frizzle banty we called Mighty Mouse. She was the smallest and would take anyone on.

Thanks you guys. We are right in the middle of the storm, although we are not getting it as bad as some. Only a few inches on the ground but it is blowing and drifting. The girls are all huddled up in the coops staying warm, thanks to the space heaters. (Boy, I got a killer electric bill this month!). Eggs in the bator, lockdown is tonight, so we are hoping to keep power. ChickenDad got the generator set up just in case. Barbara and Leroy ventured outside yesterday for a short jaunt, it was nice in the sun.

We'll be back with stories as soon as we can! Hope everyone else is fine and not getting too much snow/rain/wind/mud, etc. Think spring!

thanks for posting!! seems everyone is getting a rough winter this year... stay warm and give barbara and flock hugs from us!
