It's an EE. Where did you get her from?

I think that she is an americauna Easter egger mix. I think maybe an EE roo and an americauna hen. But I wasn’t sure. I got some hatching eggs from my neighbors chickens. all I know is that her father is an EE I don’t know any of their hens breeds.

It's actually ameraucana. Americanas are just EEs.

TSC will sell americanas, which are just EEs. First step to get a pure ameraucana is to get one spelled with a AU, not an I. Second step is to get them in true color. Ameraucanas are more likely to be pure and not EEs if they are a specific color, not just random mixed colors from a bin at TSC.

You're welcome! A lot of people do that, since that is how a lot of hatcheries will sell them. If they are spelled that way, they are just EEs. Though some hatcheries will still them with the correct spelling, but those still might just be EEs. Murray McMurray does this.

I have two ameraucana pullets, a black and a blue. They are about two months old. I'm planning on getting a cockerel for them that will be either blue, black, or lavender. And possibly another pullet that would be BBS or lav...
