I'm not sure what the lavender look like I have never been fortunate to have one of those but this is a picture of my paint silkies ..still not sure what the sex of these are ..Hi! I bought three silkies today, one being a Paint Silkie from a local breeder today and was curious if you guys know how it will turn out - if it really is a Paint Silkie.![]()
^ This picture is from today. According to the breeder, the one on the left (Keira) is Lavender, the one in the middle (Aspen) is Paint, and the last one on the right (Dakota) is Blue. Aspen is currently a week old (this picture was taken today) while the other two just hatched yesterday!
^ This picture is from the breeders ad. Mine is the one behind the middle one but basically this is how her Paint Sikies look when they are hatched or a day after hatching. How do you think the Paint one's will turn out? Do any of your chicks look like this? Also, not to hijack the thread but is the light gray one really Lavender?
She/ he is almost 3 months old ...I love my silkies ...I have 2 but couldn't get the other picture to load ..I also have a partridge silkie ..a week behind in age but it's the smallest ...right now it's a week gray color not sure what he or she will look like when older..your birds are very cuteHow cute!! How old is she/he?
Thank you! This is my first time raising silkies.. they sure are cute! I'm actually returning today to pick up the other paint silkie in the bottom picture (the one in the front) and another one. Yes, I have 2 tolbunt polish and 2 cochin bantam's and then the 2 painted silkie and 1 partridge silkie all bantam's ...I also have 2 barred rock,2 easter egger and a mixed frizzle orpington roo...there are my first silkies also...I love the colors of your birds....so pretty... I have a huge problem with my bantam's instead of them roosting in their house they roost on the ground gonna have to get this in hand before winter..Thank you!
