Hey Jenny i just ran into a lady at a swap in fredericksburg va that got some birds from you

Hey Bob!! Wow what are the chances of that?? Did she hate them lol....

Oh yea!! I do have to say I did sell her some partidge chicks that turned out just beautiful!!! I told her she could send them back whenever she wanted lol...

Bob, I have to tell you this paint story!!
Ok a friend of mine hathed 2 paints chicks last week and she can't figure out how in the world she got them.
She has her colors running together but we got to talking about it and then I remembered you posted pics of some paint chicks
that you hatched and if I remember you said you got them from your white pen. So I got to thinking and do you remember those
chicks I got from you and sent you pics of all those boys? Anyway I suckered her into taking one lol.... So the only thing I could think of
is maybe something in your white male gave her this paint chick???
I just got back from her house bc I wanted to see if they are really paint chicks and they are. I don't no what it takes to make a paint color chick if you don't have paints and this is the only thing we could think of??
The hens that she had them with were white, and 2 partridge that were mostly blk from a partr male and blue girl that I had.
So what do you make of that??? Something in your white line that has the paint gene or what???
And she has hatched chicks for a while now and then all of a sudden these two pop up!

No, it doesn't. I have a whole passel of paint chicks from a paint male to recessive white females.

Oh the paints are quite the beauty. I've been looking for a couple girls but all the ones I find are too expensive.
I'll just wait until they're more common and affordable.

Gotta love it Jenn....did ya look to see if there were pigment breaks in skin color by any chance? The white birds i'm getting with black patches aren't showing any pigment breaks...My one roo, Dudley do White, just showed a patch of black after molting this year (he is 4)...believe dealing with dom white birds....after my whites decide to get on a steady lay (if heat ever breaks around here) and i hatch what i need i am going to do some more experimenting with some of my other birds with Dudley
