Hey, I have a question for you, TGP. If you got a rooster...(Not for meat but for fertility)...What breed would you get?

The two- *Interruption* Okay, maybe three... Future breeds I want are Welsummer, Buff Brahma (not bantam), and Salmon Faverolle.

Hmm... well I'd choose a White Malay over Dark Cornish or vice versa for some nice show/dual purpose birds. Or I'd do Dark Cornish over Dorking/Light Sussex/Orpington or the previous cross over a white rock. All producing nice birds for eggs and the table.

And for extra adorableness, I should also have a Brahma!

Yes!! Ya need a Brahma! Those are great choices too! I have a Delaware / Dorking rooster, good bird. And a Delaware / Dorking / New Hampshire hen. And two unknown-gender chicks that are Delaware / Dorking / Buff Brahma.

Those are all the crosses I have at the moment! My collection shall grow...
