I love these hen in nest candy dishes. :love I've got three (orange, green, and clear), but this is the only one I have a picture of:

Next hunt, hmm... Might be a bit odd, but what about a bird you were sure was one sex and turned out to be the other? Like, for example, one you thought was a pullet for the longest time, but actually ended up being a cockerel? Before and after pictures preferably. :D

I was dead certain the one without the brown dot on its eye as a chick was a female. Vent sexing said female.

But nope! He is a cockerel, as pictured with the brother (The one on the left is the mix up)

On my phone, I have pictures, before and after, of a Brahma cockerel I had that I thought was a pullet for 13 months. I was CONVINCED. I had a big poultry friend come over and he could tell from 3 acres away that he was a male :lau

I can't use my phone in school, though so that's out. I can upload pics later if y'all would like.

Next hunt -Baby fowl in a cardboard box/container/etc (excluding a set up brooder) on the day you got them :) (For fun's sake, include breed/gender)

I'd love to see pics later! @casportpony made a chitchat thread for this thread that you could always post them to. :) https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/scavenger-hunt-chit-chat.1279430/

And for the hunt, two Silver Gray Dorking pullets and six straight run Mottled Cochin bantams (which turned out to be 4 pullets and 2 cockerels!) that I got in May from Meyer Hatchery. :love

Next hunt, how about any breed with an extra toe (Silkie, Dorking, Faverolles, etc.), preferably so that the extra toe is visible (or even just a picture of the foot)?
